Hyundai Motor America has announced a new program called “Assurance Connected Care” at the New York International Auto Show. This is great news for Houston Hyundai buyers and is slated to start May 16, 2013 on all new Hyundai cars equipped with Blue Link. “Assurance Connected Care” provides Hyundai owners with a proactive system which offers built-in emergency and car care sports services for three years at no additional charge.

In addition to “Assurance Connected Care”, Monday has also announced that they will be reducing the cost of the Blue Link service in the upcoming months. This includes the assurance, essentials and guidance packages.
Hyundai is the first manufacturer to offer built-in emergency in vehicle support services at no charge for three years. Compared to other manufacturers, Hyundai’s Telematics system offers a far more comprehensive package to technology driven car buyers.
Toyota Safety Connect, BMW Connected Drive Assist and Mercedes-Benz mBrace buyers only receive automatic collision notification, SOS emergency assistance and enhanced roadside assistance. In addition to these features Hyundai offers monthly vehicle reports, maintenance alerts, automatic diagnostic notifications, recall adviser and and car service scheduling.
Even the originator of In-Vehicle Telematics; GM’s OnStar system lacks the recall adviser service and the ability to schedule service and maintenance inside the vehicle.
